Many auto repair shops recommend getting a multi-point inspection but that could mean anything from 2 areas to 100. AAMCO uses a 36-point ProtectCheck Multi-Point Inspection when we look at your vehicle to look for any weaknesses or areas that need repair. This kind of diagnostics is best used once at the start of each season to make sure nothing is worn out in your car and it is in a safe condition to drive without risk of breaking down.

If you drive your vehicle more often than the average driver, then we recommend getting multi-point inspections more frequently like each time you get an oil change every 3,000-5,000 miles. If you don’t drive that often, then once a season should suffice. This is a preventative free service that will extend the life of your car while giving you the peace of mind to drive it every day.
