Q. My check engine light is on. What should I do?
There are many sensors and computerized components that manage your vehicle’s engine performance and emissions. When one of these fails, the “check engine” light comes on. Although your car might seem fine, we suggest bringing it in to your local AAMCO Minnesota for an inspection. We’ll do a thorough review of all major systems in your car. We check to make sure you are completely up to date on recommended factory maintenance and your car is safe and efficient. We identify any issues and recommend the necessary repairs, but we don’t do any work without your approval.
Q. How often does my car need a tune up?
As long as your car wasn’t made before 1970, a tune up once every 30,000 miles should be fine. A tune up is a good idea for several reasons, but mainly because it makes you aware of other issues that might cost more money if not taken care of as soon as possible. A tune up also helps you set and appreciate the value of a regular maintenance schedule. Get more information on what is included in a tune up.
We love to hear from happy customers!
“Profesional work, and great customer service. Hard to find in an auto repair shop!” ★★★★★ – Eric C.
“Service here was exceptional. Brian, the owner, was very accommodating, informative, and honest. I was promptly notified of unforeseen parts needing repair, and was given a loaner vehicle for a few hours. Excellent customer service and overall smooth process. I’d recommend anyone in the Twin Cities needing repairs to come here.” ★★★★★ – Thomas B.
“Brian Scott is simply fantastic. The slogan for AAMCO is “Total Car Care” but Brian slogan should read “Total Customer Care.” He goes above and beyond the call of service and I could not recommend any car shop more than Brian’s AAMCO. I will be sending all of my friends and family his way.” ★★★★★ – Sarah B.
“I really wish that I could go higher than 5 stars to review this shop. The level of care my automobile has gotten here far exceeds any shop I have brought it too. They are attentive and customer friendly. I always have my questions answered in a straight forward manner, and they are always available when I call them to check up on work. I can’t recommend this shop enough.” ★★★★★ – Andrew B.
