How to Know When It’s Time for Brake Service

Brakes are a vital system of your car and need to be checked and maintained to work their best. Brake calipers, pads, and rotors are the primary components of car disc brake systems. The brake pads and rotors on all cars wear out, but brake wear and tear is affected by several factors, including how hard you push the brakes, or ride the brakes and stop abruptly, or if you brake gradually and coast to a stop. Customer Rating:
I’ve gone here several times over quite a few years to have my car worked on. They’ve always been straight with me with a fair price. Once when I had a problem with a Driver’s side wheel bearing they had fixed that went bad again (from another issue with my car) they called it in and got it replaced for free under warranty, saving me some cash. The bottom line is they have been honest with me over the years, even when management changed.
Larry Milton
Customer Rating:

I cannot say enough good things about this repair shop. They fixed my transmission cheaper than the first estimate from another place and even did a free inspection on the other systems in my car.

A good, trustworthy mechanic can be hard to find, but these are my go to guys for sure!

Melissa Gant
Customer Rating:

I thought my car was “acting funny” so I brought it to AAMCO for their free diagnostic inspection. Turns out I just needed a tune up. It’s great to find an honest place to take my vehicle when its having troubles. Could have been very expensive at a less reputable shop.

5 stars in my book.

Paul Johnson
Customer Rating:

I have been a customer here for some time and wanted to share a recent experience. While my car was in the shop here for brake work, they discovered a leak in my radiator hose.

I was surprised to hear this, but even more surprised that they fixed it for free! Customer service at its best.
